We were contacted by the Legatus National Staff to construct a new website that would match their magazine branding as well as provide a site that allowed them to frequently add articles and features and massive amounts of content in an organized and efficient way.  We built the site on the Word Press platform and customized some features to make this system fit them like a glove.

The site just won second place 2nd place for Best Website (all Catholic publication websites in North America) at the National Catholic Press Association convention.

FOCUS Made for More Conference

FOCUS is a great group and we’ve done a lot of work for them over the years. When they called us to design a site for their Made for More National Conference they were looking for something a little “grungier” and rough around the edges. We like grunge….so we said “ok” and got to work… here’s the result….

Hanover Life Teen

Hanover Life Teen is a youth ministry program in the Boston,MA area and they needed a new website to be able to communicate with their youth program.  The youth minister Neil stole the Gnome in our landscape and held it for ransom until we agreed to build him a website.  Thankfully, we did a good job and our Gnome was returned unharmed and no worse for the wear.  Although he came back singing Matt Maher songs….

FOCUS National Site

FOCUS, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students, is a national college ministry that puts missionaries on college campuses to assist in bringing students to  Jesus Christ and the Catholic faith.  They are on hundreds of campuses across the nation and are one of the fastest growing and most dynamic ministries in the Catholic Church today.

Faculty Commons is the Faculty arm of Campus Crusade for Christ.  They contacted us with the desire to move to Word Press and have an attractive theme designed for their use with Faculty.

Julian Drive is a great new Christian band that is logging thousands of road miles on the touring schedule and a ton of plays on radio stations across the country, as well as changing lives with their witness.  We designed their new website to come out with their latest album and it was a pleasure to work with them.

Harvest Ministry

Jon and Ann Dunagan are a witness to us all.  Homeschooling parents, they stepped out and took their family into the mission fields and since 1987 have been traveling the globe sharing their message.

The Dunagans have impacted millions with the message of Christ and changed countless lives including their own.  At last count they’ve ministered to over 1.5 million people and planted over 400 self-sustaining churches.  We were honored to do this site!

Camp Wojtyla

FOCUS (The Fellowship of Catholic University Students) is a wonderful organization and we’ve done a bunch of work for them.  They called us recently to build a new camp site for their Colorado Camp Wojtyla named after Pope John Paul II.

They were looking for a great Word Press backend but used more as a CMS instead of a blog and they wanted some cool, earthy, camp style graphics.  We loved the final site and so did they.

Far From Moscow

What do get when you cross a creative professor, some Russian punk bands and students who love music?

Well, once upon a time, Far from Moscow….Professor Dave from UCLA’s Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures came up with a great idea for his students:  Create a website that they would manage that would focus on emerging Russian Music.  This would help them learn about Russian culture and also satiate their desires of music and tecnology.  Man, I wish I had creative teachers like that in school…

St. Mary’s Life Teen

St. Mary’s Life Teen in Dedham, Ma is one of the best Life Teen programs in the country.  Jason called us and said, “Dude…we need the best website ever…” We hope we obliged him…  We actually liked this design so much that we didn’t want to give it to him!  But anyway, he’s really good at Rock, Paper, Scissors and he ended up with it…

St. Mark’s Life Teen

We put this one together like a scrapbook… some old paper, rip the edges a bit, throw a couple of layers on top and of course, throw in some picture frames for the good folks at St. Mark’s.  Youth Minister Tim is doing great things for the youth in Huntersville, NC.  Go Tim!

FOCUS Missions

We’ve done a bunch or work for this outfit and we’re always pleased to help out.  This time it was a site for their Missionary efforts.  They take young people around the world to help out at locations like Kolkatta (India), JuFarez (Mexico) and Camino de Santiago (Spain.)

Isidore Bard

Isidore Bard is a young songwriter out of Iowa who after travelling the world was inspired to write catchy, lyrically deep songs of his travels.  His name album Roadsongs and Parables, released by Mediatrix Records, rocks!

In addition, Isidore is now studying for the priesthood.  We wish him the best and were honored to do his website.

FOCUS Staff Site

FOCUS is a Catholic Ministry with over 120 full-time Missionaries.  They needed a staff portal where their people could download documents, new resources and communicate with one another.  We built them a new password protected site and database sytem and made it smokin’ looking as well as fully functional.  We wish we could send you there to check it out but alas, our password security program works too well and you can’t get in…

You could always join their staff as a missionary though…

Spirtus Gladius

Paul Abbe like swords.  He’s a warrior at heart and wanted a site that fit his ministry name of “Spiritus Gladius, the Sword of the Spirit.”  We designed the site using and creating some old images of Knights and weapons that fit his needs.  Check out PaulAbbe.net and see who Paul is mowing down with his broadsword…

Texoma Pro-life Association

We’re big supporters of the Pro-Life movement at KickStart but not big fans of “gross” over the top pictures and hateful words so when The Texoma Pro-Life Association approached us about doing a customized blog we had to work carefully to create an attractive, friendly brand that didn’t loose anything in it’s serious message as well.

We chose to celebrate life and used a great photoset of colorful kids to do it.  See what you think!

JJ Weeks Band

We got a call from JJ Weeks, an up and coming Christian musician, wanting a new site. JJ had seen our work with Julian Drive and wanted something in that hip, grunge style. After coming up with some crazy grungy graphics, we built the site on a Word Press backend and utilized lots of different page templates and unique sidebars, and incorporated some sweet hover graphics and code to make everything look fly.
