Legatus

We were contacted by the Legatus National Staff to construct a new website that would match their magazine branding as well as provide a site that allowed them to frequently add articles and features and massive amounts of content in an organized and efficient way.  We built the site on the Word Press platform and customized some features to make this system fit them like a glove.

The site just won second place 2nd place for Best Website (all Catholic publication websites in North America) at the National Catholic Press Association convention.

Kevin is a great guy and takes beautiful pictures.  He called us to build him a site that would really showcase these photos but also allow him to blog regularly and take advantage of the great SEO of the  Word Press backend.

We ended combining several themes, customizing the heck out of them and then making it all match his branding.

He’s still taking great pictures and had now brought on a whole team of photographers to keep up with the work.  Way to go Kevin!

The Life Classroom

These guys are all about content..and I mean content. They have dozens of writers and over 2,000 articles on their site already! They wanted a kicking Word Press design to go along with all that delicious posting madness. Barbara runs a tight ship and an awesome Day Spa in Sherman, TX. When Barbara came to us for a website she had certain specifications… good looking, match current branding, easy to use and update and done quickly… oh, aren’t those everyone’s expectations? No problem, we’re used to that at Kickstart and we really like Barbara so we whipped it out.

Fashion Savvy

Tamara Guadin, the chief consultant and owner of Fashion-Savvy.com is a sharp gal. We built a great website for her in exchange for her coming by our office and showing us all how to dress so we didn’t look like a bunch of nerds. Now we look seriously “savvy” but unfortunately we’re behind our computers 12 hours a day and no one can see how cool we look…

But hey, we’re not all nerds, so if you need a new look for that luncheon with John McCain you’ve just been invited to, give Tamara a call…

Newark Speaks is a community forum that’s been around for years.  With over a 100,000 posts and thousands of members, this forum needed a kicking new magazine style website to go with it.  We custom designed a site that more than met their needs and the members are loving the new look!
